Hi, I'm AMY

HOME OPERATIONS CONSULTANT

Hi, I’m Amy Jones, a Home Operations Consultant and the founder of Amy Jones Co.

For more than 30 years, I worked in leadership, operations, and product management. I was used to walking into complicated situations, identifying what kept breaking down, and finding a more practical way forward.

But being good at solving problems at work did not mean I always knew how to make work, motherhood, and home fit together.

There was a season when I was a single working mom, standing in my kitchen trying to make dinner, when I found myself crying because I knew the adrenaline I had been running on would eventually run out.

I loved my children. I cared about my work. I wanted our home to feel like a place where we could reconnect and recover from the day.

But too often, home felt like another shift filled with unfinished work, constant decisions, and reminders of everything I had not gotten done.

That experience is a big part of why I care so deeply about overwhelmed working moms.

I left my corporate career in November 2024 to help Christian working moms make their homes easier to run when there’s too much to do.

When I say Home Operations, I’m talking about the everyday ways your home functions. It includes how decisions are made, who owns what, where things happen, how many steps a task requires, what creates mental load, and whether your routines still work on a hard day.

I’m the person who sees the clothes pile, chaotic morning, dinner scramble, or overflowing drop-zone and immediately starts asking questions.

- What happens right before this?

- What is the current setup making easiest?

- How many decisions or steps are involved?

- Who should actually own this task?

- What happens when work runs late, someone gets sick, or everyone is tired?

Then I look for a simpler way for that part of home to work with the people actually living there.

Sometimes organization is part of the solution. A better location, container, or physical setup can remove unnecessary friction.

But Home Operations goes much deeper than organizing your belongings.

The work can include mental load, recurring decisions, task ownership, household rhythms, the physical environment, your family’s actual capacity, the standards you are trying to maintain, and the beliefs you carry about what a good Christian woman, mother, employee, or business owner should be able to manage.

Because a beautifully organized system still will not work if it requires too many decisions, depends entirely on you, or falls apart every time you have a demanding week.

I believe our homes should support the lives God has given us, including the meaningful work we are called to do. That begins with renewing the way we think, re-anchoring our identity in Christ, and creating practical home rhythms that fit our real lives and real capacity.
